Rock Kitchen Harris gives Age Concern a website makeover
8th May 2007
Age Concern Leicestershire and Rutland has had a new website, developed for them by Leicester based Rock Kitchen Harris.
The regional division of the national charity, dedicated to improving the quality of life for older people in Leicestershire and Rutland, enlisted the talents of Rock Kitchen Harris, a full service advertising agency, asking them to improve the look, usability and accessibility of its website.
After attention and improvements from the agency experts, the site is now up and running with easy to navigate pages including current news, information about resources on offer, suggestions about how to get involved in the charity's work and comprehensive details about all of Age Concern's Leicestershire and Rutland services. Rock Kitchen Harris were so enthused by this work that they went well beyond the original plan and produced a completely new site with an easy to use Content Management System, allowing Age Concern staff to keep the site up to date very easily and quickly.
Paul Sculthorpe, Senior Web Developer at Rock Kitchen Harris oversaw the project and is delighted with the outcome and to have helped such a worthwhile charity:
“We've been really pleased to work with such a well known and respected charity as Age Concern, and we trust that the new-look website will help it reach more people and so expand its presence and support network in the local community. Age Concern does such a great job in caring for elderly people that we are more than happy to be able to contribute to their ongoing success.”
Rock Kitchen Harris has designed websites for Leicestershire Constabulary, Nottinghamshire Police, Everards Brewery and Hazelton Homes among others. To see the new Age Concern Leicestershire and Rutland website go to www.ageconcernleics.com
