Hercules Revived   Hercules is revived in style

We’re hugely proud to have helped our client revive an unloved 17th century Inn into Hercules Revived, one of the most talked about places to eat and drink in the county.

The hand painted sign on the side of the building says it all ‘An English Country Coaching Inn for Eating & Drinking’ and that’s what it is, a place to relax and enjoy English hospitality at it’s best.

We created an entire identity kit to allow for flexible and consistent branding, from logo and signs to menus, mailers, ads and websites. The tone is relaxed and informal, the colour palette muted and friendly, It’s all about honesty and integrity.

We also created the Innkeeper, the rarely seen spokesperson for the Inn, spreading the word through his social channels and ensuring the food and wines are perfectly kept for his customers. He enhances the identity to give it depth, heritage and a twist of humour.

Imagine what the perfect English Country Inn should be, we think Hercules Revived is pretty much it.

Colourkit   Design and photography polished to perfection for Colourkit

A bit of an indulgence, as anything to do with cars, photography and design has our Design Director Paul hot under the collar. Colourkit is a local garage specialising in the renovation and customisation of exotic cars, with a global customer base for their craftsmanship. Not to forget, they also repair ‘everyday’ cars to the same exceptional standards, and needed a website design to reflect both aspects of their service. The website is currently in our workshop and will be unveiled very soon.

Taylor Wimpey   Luxurious design for The Enclave

Asked to produce a coffee table brochure for an exclusive development of 3 very special homes, we set about designing something that couldn’t fail to impress. A minimal outer folder with a gold, foil blocked bespoke site monogram, contains a set of individual property sheets, location booklet and specification sheet all sealed with a deep grey ribbon.

Michelin   100th Anniversary design work for Michelin

We’ve been busy creating an entire literature system to support our PR work for the 100th Anniversary of Michelin House in London. We designed an Anniversary logo device using the original 1911 Bibendum figure alongside the latest 2011 Bibendum, together with bespoke invitations, menu covers, press packs, information sheets and a limited edition Anniversary poster to be sold in the Conran shop.

The work stood out beautifully at the events held at Michelin House, now Conran’s Bibendum Oyster Bar & Restaurant.

Hope Against Cancer   RKH design a wall of Hope for Leicester Royal Infirmary

We love new challenges and when Hope Against Cancer asked us to create a strong but understated presence for them within the Oncology Unit at Leicester Royal Infirmary we really wanted to help.

Hope Against Cancer raise money to fund vital cancer research throughout Leicestershire and Rutland. Where better for them to tell people about themselves than the main Oncology Unit in the leading University Hospital in Leicestershire? We’ve supported Hope for many years and relished the challenge to work in a large scale environment, but there were some serious constraints on what we could do.

This weekend some of our staff and collaborative companies gave their own time to turn our idea into a whole series of installations in the main public areas, a mix of powerful posters and key typographic messages on vinyl applied directly onto the walls. Hope’s powerful symbol, the dove, appears throughout helping guide people through the inspirational graphics.

The LRI are delighted with the results, so are we. A message from Hope Against Cancer to us before Christmas said simply – “Just brilliant. I am totally overwhelmed. It’s the best Christmas present anyone could have given me”.

NHS   Annual Report

We have been working for Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust since summer 2008, creating all their marketing communications and helping them towards their target of Foundation Trust status.

This is the second annual report we have done for them and as well as documenting their financial progress, also shows what’s happened in LPT over the year. It’s hugely gratifying to see how they’ve developed in such a short time and we love being able to help them tell their story.
