Web Design
We’ve been in the web design business since 1996, building web sites for all sorts of organisations, both in Leicester and further afield. They’re all built to comply with the latest web and accessibility standards, quick to load, easy to use, look fantastic and get results. And though we understand programming and coding we talk your language as well!

CrimeMapper Local crime mapping for the UK
Our work in late 2008 developing local online crime mapping systems for 30 of the 43 English and Welsh police forces was so successful that the National Policing Improvement Agency (NPIA) asked us to build a national site for all forces.
This went live in October 2009 and it’s already been expanded with the addition of lots of information for local policing areas and a major upgrade in March 2009 which included a mobile version and an API for developers (http://policeapi.rkh.co.uk/). Find out more at www.crimemapper.co.uk
Love Thy Space Love at first sight
Selling everything from stylish garden lighting to elegant jewellery, Love thy space wanted to make a big impact when they launched. With RKH’s help and expertise they received over 10,000 visitors to their website within the first month of launching and were taking orders within just a few days.
We’ve also created a linked blog, giving customers access to some great ideas, products and everything else ‘Love Thy Space’.
Kirby & West Fresh delivery
Kirby & West have been around since 1861, delivering milk to 35,000 doorsteps every day. They wanted a fresh design that made them the cream of the crop – and we really delivered!
Set We love myset.co.uk
…but that goes without saying! Leicester retail business Set sell thousands of really cool gifts and toys for all ages. With an eye-catching design and innovative, easy-to-use navigation, this web site could seriously affect your bank balance!
Daylight Supply A very bright future for Daylight
We’ve created a powerful new site for global supply chain services company – Daylight. A highly visual yet simple design structure helps the site cut through the normal ‘blah, blah’ and gets straight to the point, a bright future indeed.
Our Generation Your Generation, Everyone's Generation
One of our existing clients, Mark Group, has invested in this ground-breaking energy supply concept – to provide public sector buildings, such as schools with green renewable energy on a pay as you go basis. We’ve created everything from the logo and literature to this website with one aim – to make the information accessible, bright and fresh thinking.
Launde Abbey The site that helped raise £1million in six months
We were asked to create a media campaign to help raise a much needed £1 million to save Launde Abbey, a historic retreat house in South Leicestershire, from imminent closure. Challenge enough given our economic climate, but the real sting was that the money needed to be raised within 6 months.
Never afraid of a challenge (especially one for a great cause) we set about creating an integrated campaign which produced the desired results.
6 months on, the money raised and the Abbey saved, we smile, breathe a sigh of relief and move on to the next.
Guthlaxton College An Education in Online Excellence
We approached the design of Guthlaxton College’s website from the ground up – the content was there but they way it was presented needed completely re-working. First we divided the content into three broad areas: information for students, information for parents and information about the school. Once colour-coded, these three areas outlined a simple navigation into which all the content could find a new home. With the structure dealt with, the school came up trumps with some great, authentic photography that really brought it all to life and the result is a fantastic looking – but simple – website with plenty of room to grow.
Leicestershire & Nottinghamshire Police Fighting Crime Online
We started with Leicestershire Constabulary in 1999 and have worked with them to develop their website ever since. Our work with Nottinghamshire Police began in 2005 and we work in partnership with them on everything to do with their website. Backed by powerful Content Management Systems all the day to day changes can be handled by the forces, we provide the secure hosting and constantly upgrade the sites to meet the needs of these major police forces.
