Segura A multi-channel marketing campaign

Background

Segura is a cloud-based supply chain mapping and order management software company. Their software allows brands to see exactly what’s going on inside their manufacturing supply chains, and easily understand the source and journey of every component of every product they sell. The company’s operations headquarters are based at Loughborough University’s Science and Enterprise Park.

Approach

As part of a multi-channel marketing campaign we were asked to drive traffic to Segura’s website and help build their leads.

We produced blog articles focusing on current industry events and news, offering insight to readers and establishing Segura as an authority in the area of supply chain clarity. Posts were carefully SEO optimised to increase their performance in search rankings and each ended with a CTA, encouraging readers to provide their details in order to download assets with further information.

We helped out with Segura’s social media accounts, sharing relevant posts, news stories and scheduling content. We also live tweeted interesting snippets, guest insights and a behind the scenes look from Segura’s Modern Slavery Act Seminar, creating buzz around the event and encouraging their followers who couldn’t attend to get involved.

Alongside content articles, we created a number of graphics to help further illustrate the true costs of modern slavery and the risks of an unclear supply chain. We designed an infographic ‘Mapping out modern slavery’, which shows the industries and countries that are most affected by modern day slavery and the key legislation that has been introduced in recent years.

We made use of Hubspot to support inbound marketing, optimising content, collecting leads and then develop contacts into sales enquiries. Data collected on the number of visits and leads generated helped us demonstrate the importance of regular quality content on the website.

Results

In our first six months producing content, visits to the website almost doubled and we saw a large increase in signups, growing Segura’s contact base significantly and supporting efforts to develop further sales leads.
