Taylor Wimpey is one of the UK’s largest housebuilders with over 400 developments across the UK and 24 regional offices. We currently work with 6 of these regions, as well as working closely alongside Head Office on national campaigns.

Taylor Wimpey North Midlands, who we have been working with since 2008, approached us to ask for help in conveying the location benefits of one of their key developments to prospective customers.

Sutton Grange is nestled in the picturesque market town of Shrewsbury, within easy reach of both the medieval town centre and the beautiful open countryside. We were asked to produce a video for their sales centre and website, to help promote the great location and showcase this exceptional development.

Approach

After speaking to the Taylor Wimpey staff on site, we realised that the homes being built at Sutton Grange were forming a truly unique community and we wanted to make sure this came across in the video.

We decided the best way to do this was to use interviews with residents of Sutton Grange and one of the Taylor Wimpey sales executives who works there. This not only helped to give the video more of a personal touch, but it also allowed those closest to the development to explain what makes it so special to them.

We combined this with footage from the development, Shrewsbury town centre, the local area and popular sights to give people a better feel for the community and its character.

Results

The 5 minute video gives a fantastic snapshot of life in Shrewsbury and beautifully illustrates what a special place it is to live. This will help to assist prospective buyers in making their decision about moving to Sutton Grange.

One of our directors, Jamie, grew up in Shrewsbury and the video almost made him want to move back home. Well, until Leicester won the league!
