Promoting a wild life with new LRWT video

Back in February the lovely folk at Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust asked us to help promote their Wild Forest School initiative, which has been extended this year thanks to funding from players of People’s Postcode Lottery. We always enjoy working with the Trust, so were only too glad to get involved.

Since then we’ve built a microsite for the project, secured media coverage for a series of announcements and helped to manage a celebration event with children from across the city.

Most recently though we’ve been busy working on a video all about Wild Forest School and what it means for the Leicester children who take part. After agreeing a basic concept for the film, we developed a storyboard, devised interview questions and arranged the shoot.

We finalised the video earlier this month and the feedback from both the Trust and People’s Postcode Lottery has been fantastic - we’re really proud of the results!

Starring TV naturalist Nick Baker; Martha Rose, Education Officer at Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust; Wild Forest School leaders, and children from ten local primary schools, the video is available to view on the Wild Forest School website.
